LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 22, 2020) – Each week, the NTRA will provide a rundown of those who have qualified for the National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) the previous weekend.
The NHC is the most important tournament of the year for horseplayers and is the culmination of a year-long series of NTRA-sanctioned local tournaments conducted by racetracks, casino race books, off-track betting facilities and horse racing and handicapping websites, each of which sends its top qualifiers to the national finals. The 2021 NHC is now slated take place in the Bally’s Events Center from August 27-29.

Will LaTulippe of Brighton, MA will be making his second NHC appearance when he heads to Vegas for 2021.
Christopher Olsson of Bellmore, NY is now dual qualified for what will be his fifth NHC appearance. Olsson has cashed twice for a total of $26,600.

Dane Moore of Pinole, CA will bring dual qualifier status to NHC 2021, which will be his 12th appearance in the tournament. Moore’s best finish came in 2020 when he finished 39th and cashed for $12,950.
Rick Vasquez of Springfield, MO is now dual qualified for his fourth NHC appearance and has cashed once previously for $10,000 in 2017.
